Happy 2012 – The Muppet Effect
OK, even I had to laugh at this title! But seriously, while The Muppet’s may seem to be an extremely trivial thing in this world, I suppose that I have been affected by them in much the way the human characters in the current Muppet movie have been. I had forgotten The Muppet’s for some time, having watched them as a kid, but they always made me smile and laugh.
I took my husband and daughter to see the movie yesterday, and as I left the theatre I couldn’t help but think, repeatedly, that The Muppet’s symbolize all that is good in the world. “Really?” I thought. That’s a pretty strong statement for even something I enjoy so much! And that led me to some introspection that finally gave me the answer.
Most recently I have been working on a bridge. I didn’t know it at first, but all of the activations and such that I have been working on in December were to bridge me to the 5D, to a complete merge with my higher self, and much more that I don’t consciously understand. I learned this through song lyrics that I was guided to listen to. I had to bridge my heart, and it took the rest of my being with it, for it is the key that unlocks the door. That is another article in itself, but it is an important piece of how I ended up watching The Muppet Movie yesterday and why I had to wait to watch it on 1/1/2012.
Part of the movie dealt with how the Muppet’s weren’t relevant anymore. They were too nice, too sweet, for today’s world. No one would watch, no one would laugh the TV execs all said. But they were trying to save their “home” which was, of course, their studio. To do this, they had to work together. They were a family. If I didn’t know better, I’d say you could apply the general story line to the ascension of HUmans on this planet!
In the end they found a way to save their home, and they did it through kindness and and love and joy and good, silly fun. And everyone else remembered – they remembered what a joy it was to experience this. It was truly a higher vibrational experience!
Near the end of the movie Kermit sang The Rainbow Connection, which some of you may remember. That was the bridge, and it reached out to my heart and the hearts of others. It made us remember, even if for a moment, unconditional love and joy.
What a nice way to start off 2012, the year that everything will change. The Mayan Calendar (time period) is over, and we are in a waiting period where we lay out the intentions for what we want AFTER. I agree with Kermit…”Someday we’ll find it, the Rainbow Connection; the lovers, the dreamers, and me.”
